Client Needs
Engineering assistance designing, prototyping and testing the outer housings for the function and manufacture of the VistaScan device.
What We Did
The multi-component plastic housings were designed in concert with industrial design, human factors, mechanical function, ease of assembly, and a premium level of design for manufacturing of injection molding.
Proving Functionality
A plurality of sizes and types of x-ray plates were accommodated via lengthy friction studies, prototypes, and user feedback while developing the plate guides, peripherals to the equipment.
